I met Mr. Decker once. What I remember the most was his seer-sucker suit and his slight stature. It was hard to imagine he headed the company that invented the Dust Buster!

Yes, I am registered to use WCAlumnet. When it first debuted I was very excited about it but then I noticed that it was not being updated regularly and not many people from my class year had even signed up. It is also extremely clunky to use…I am not even sure how I can go about changing the photos I have submitted there!
It would be helpful if there were notifications as to new postings or when classmates activate accounts.
Perhaps younger graduates (1980s-Present) should be encouraged to view the Washington College Magazine via WCAlumnet…that would save some money on mailing and printing costs and encourage its use. I also just paged through said magazine and I do not believe there is even one blurb about WCAlumnet…maybe there should be a highlight taken from the alumni site included in each classnotes to make people more aware.
BTW do you know why Wilmington Alumni have now been lumped in with Philadelphia. There are a lot of us here in Wilmo and we are all very perplexed as to how and why this happened.

I’m an alum from ‘07 but I’m also on staff working with the WC website, and I’m hoping you can help me out (though giving me a “legit” reason to be on Tumblr in the office is already a big help!).
Since you’re on Tumblr, you’re obviously awesome, Internet-savvy people so I’d like to know if you’re registered on Alumnet - if you are, how much you use it and if not, why, and what (if anything) would entice you to use it (or use it more).
